- Acorn squash
 
- Wash the acorn squash, cut it into half and scoop out the seeds.
 - Place in a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (177°C). Remove and set aside to cool.
 - Once cool, remove the skin then cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch squares.
 - Arrange on dehydrator trays in a single layer.
 - Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for about 7-10 hours.
 - Let cool then store in an airtight container.
